The City of Lexington is excited to launch TextMyGov, a new, smart text messaging service! Residents can receive important notifications such as weather alerts, boil orders and street closures. Residents can also text the City to find information and report issues.

Residents may receive a text message from 91896 from the City of Lexington initiating the service. You can choose to opt out at any time by texting STOP. If you don’t receive the initial message, you can opt-in by texting the keywords below to 91896. After sending the initial keyword, you will be asked to reply “YES” to confirm opt-in. Residents may receive notifications for City notifications and events.
